SPA 551 - Structures Of Modern Spanish

Description: Introduction to the theories of the organization of Spanish morphological and syntactic systems as well as the study of Spanish lexicography. The course will survey and critique formalist and functional explanations of the organizations of the Spanish grammatical and lexical systems. Particular attention is paid to the application of these theories to Spanish instruction. Letter grade only.
