Science Education
Description: In this course, students will become critical readers of current science education research and its implications to classroom practice. Areas to be discussed include but are not limited to: curriculum and instruction, knowing and learning, equity, technology, professional development, nature of science and informal science education. Students will also receive instruction on basic educational research methods and gain experience in designing a study. Letter grade only. Course fee required.
