DIS 549 - Methods In Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention


Description: Introduction to Early Intensive Behavioral Interventions (EIBI) trains individuals to enhance the learning of young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. EIBI incorporates principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) such as reinforcement, shaping, prompting, facing, and measurement of behavior. The course consists of on-line lessons, readings, quizzes, discussions, recording data from videos, and a project assignment. Instructor consent required. Letter grade only.
