HPI 601 - Responsible Conduct Of Science And Regulatory Principles For Human Research


Description: This course covers principles, regulatory issues, and the application of research principles and guidelines for human subject research. The course explores basic ethical standards and principles for the protection of human subjects, how to formulate an IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) and IRB protocol. The course includes ethical approaches to translational research processes and regulations (private, federal, and academic). Department consent required. Letter grade only.
