ENG 308H - Introduction To Linguistics - Honors


Description: Basic concepts of descriptive linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, language acquisition, and language processing. ENG 308 is a prerequisite for all 400-level linguistics courses; concurrent enrollment acceptable. Letter grade only. Prerequisite: Honors student group and ENG 105 or HON 190 or English Placement Test Results (Accuplacer WR 8; PLACE 50+) or International Exchange Student Group.
