Description: Investigates the variety of relationships that exist between women and the outdoors and the active exploration undertaken by women in the outdoors. The course will begin with an overview of women in the outdoors, including variable constraints and opportunities, depending on the cultural, economic and historical context. The course will include an outdoor experience of some kind. Letter grade only.
