SOCI 340 - Social Criminology

Description: This course is an introduction to criminal and deviant behavior, criminal law, and social control, beginning with the concept of criminal offending and victimization. The course seeks to differentiate between theories of criminal behavior and apply those theories to literature and case studies. The course also touches on types of criminal behavior including violent, property, white-collar, and political crimes. Letter grade only.
