Description: This is a course in advanced silviculture. This course, in combination with FOR 413 (Forest Ecosystem Assessment), will provide students with quantitative skills necessary for the development of specific silvicultural prescriptions to meet management goals. Skills will be developed both in the classroom and in forest-based field labs. 2 hrs. lecture, 3 hrs. lab. Letter grade only.
