Description: This course provides an introduction to the social science of criminology. As criminology traditionally examines the principle themes and theories related to the causes of crime, students will examine a number of the most significant theories concerning the nature and causes of crime, different types of crimes and criminal behaviors, and the impact that crime has on society at large.
