JUS 435 - Profiles Of Deviant Behavior

Description: The course addresses the definitions of deviant behavior and the causes and origins of violent behavior. Other issues examined include the social consequences of formal deviant designations, the creation of norms, values, and rules, the types of deviant behavior encountered by justice practitioners, how deviant behavior is dealt with by the criminal justice system, and resources available to deviant individuals. Letter grade only.
