Description: This course explores the classical and contemporary theories of crime from sociological, biological, political, psychological, and economic perspectives. Course material will focus on the historical development of the theories, their major assumptions and propositions, as well as their relevance for addressing contemporary criminal justice policy and practice. Letter grade only.
