AHBY 322 - Institutions, Society And Inequality


Description: This course challenges the student to consider personal socio-political value systems through understanding present sociological and social work theories on social, economic, and political stratification, and applying theoretical models to the institutions and social systems that support ongoing stratification. This includes understanding the consequences of inequality for individuals and social groups as well as determining stratification within organizations and communities. Letter grade only.
