CDSY 342 - Asset Mapping And Community Asset Building
Description: This course teaches the asset based planning approach to community initiatives using the strength perspective to developing sustainable communities. This approach to planning maps community assets and develops an inventory of community strengths useful for sustainable community building. It teaches the advantages of identifying community leaders, organizational efforts and community resources in promoting community involvement, and ownership of programs. Letter grade only.
