ESE 519 - Principles And Tactics Of Positive Behavior Support

Description: This course is an introduction to Positive Behavior Support (PBS) for persons with disabilities. PBS incorporates both the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), along with objective measurement of behavior over time, with the principles of self-determination, quality of life, and person-centered planning. The emphasis is on modifying environments to make problem behavior irrelevant, inefficient, and ineffective. Letter grade only.
