EDL 641 - School And Tribal Communities: Role Of Education In Tribal Nation Building


Description: This course covers the leadership skills for connecting the school with parents in tribal communities. The course covers evolving perspectives of the purpose of K-12 education that promote tribal-community involvement in teaching, leadership within and beyond the school building to support school-family-tribal-community partnerships and networks, responding to tribal interests, and leadership to understand the role of education in tribal-nation building. Letter grade only.
