Description: This course will focus on classical and modern theories of community ecology and the practical application of that theory. The course will include review and discussion of classical community ecology studies, followed by trait-based and phylogenetic-based community ecology modules. Application of the methods discussed in readings will be achieved through statistical analyses in the R computing language. Letter grade only.
