Description: Level 9 is English for Academic Purposes for Graduate Students. Students listen to authentic academic passages and lectures. They read academic texts, scholarly articles, in order to learn and use academic vocabulary and complex grammatical structures to complete both academic written and spoken tasks encountered in graduate studies. Students in level 6 take classes in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This course is developmental in nature and does not count toward a student's GPA or graduation requirements. May be repeated up to 3 times.
