Curriculum and Instruction
Description: This course is designed to prepare teachers for the process of pursuing National Board Certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). In partnership with the Arizona K12 Center, a National Board Certified Teacher-instructor will guide participants as they examine their practice and reflect on the impact their instructional decisions on students in their classrooms. Portions of this course may be facilitated in a face-to-face and online (hybrid) format. *Though successful completion of this course may result in the attainment of course credit from Northern Arizona University, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards determines the scoring criteria and processes used to become a National Board Certified Teacher. Pass-fail only.
