Description: This course introduces the student to the load and resistance factor design (LRFD) method of structural steel members and connections for tension, compression, bending, and combined compression and bending. Loads specified in the International Building Code and their application to steel frame buildings will be presented. Analysis and design of structural steel building systems will be covered. Letter grade only.
