PHY 581 - Solid State Physics
Description: This course involves the study of solids from the perspective of the underlying microscopic structure of rigid matter. The use of statistical physics and quantum mechanics is used to uncover the properties of solids such as heat capacity and electronic band structure. Co-convened with PHY 481. Letter grade only.
