Description: This course will evaluate theories of deviance from sociological, psychological, and social work perspectives in order to understand the micro, meso and macro implications of deviant individual and group behaviors. Students will learn about the similarities and distinctions between normal and pathological features of personality as well as the role that personality may play with regard to the causes and treatment of other kinds of mental disorders.
