ITG 201 - Ideation


Description: This is a multi-disciplinary course incorporating theory and application from at least 2-3 different disciplines, such as marketing, psychology, graphic design, engineering, and computer science. The goal is to expose students across multiple departments and colleges to the 5 stages of the design thinking methodology, which provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. With this methodology, we will tackle problem solving in 5 stages: EMPATHIZE, DEFINE, IDEATE, PROTOTYPE AND TEST. Working through the stages of conceptual development, production of prototypes, iterations, and actualization. Letter grade only.
