HS 501 - Introduction To Public Health
Description: This course provides an introduction to the principles of public health research and practice. Course content includes the history of public health, philosophies, core values and current public health topics and trends. This course prepares students for graduate-level public health coursework with an overview of social and structural determinants of health, including environmental, biological, behavioral, psychological, and genetic factors of health and well-being. Letter grade only.
