Description: Evolution is not only a deep-time process responsible for producing all of the biodiversity we see today, but also an ongoing part of ecological interactions and ecosystem responses to global change. This class will explore the impact of evolutionary processes on our ability to predict and respond to rapid environmental change. Coursework will focus on reading and analyzing the scientific literature on a range of applied evolutionary topics. Co-convened with ENV 560. Letter grade only.
