CPP 604 - Psychodynamic Theory And Therapy

Description: A review of the major schools of psychodynamic theories and methodology of each approach in clinical settings including classic psychoanalysis and contemporary theoretical approaches. Attention is given to case formulation with a psychodynamic orientation and the application of evidence-based psychodynamic interventions in psychotherapy. Case studies are used to better understand psychodynamic theories and techniques. Letter grade only.
