Description: Students will produce and edit technical documentation based on theory and best practices for writing and editing content such as help files, user manuals, and FAQ files. In addition, students will manage a remote team of undergraduate writers using a variety of document project management modalities, tools, and software. Students will lead their teams to create resume-worthy documentation affiliated with the online iFixit Technical Writing Project. Students will practice Search Engine Optimization practices and explore team leadership, management, and coaching concepts related to working with documentation and writers. Co-convened with ENG 434. Letter grade only.
