Description: This Social & Political Worlds is a topics course that considers cultural diversity in the United States and how a group's language, values, traditions, norms, and identity intersect with race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and/or ability. Different sections of this course will focus on different topics concerning cultural diversity in the United States. Topics offered will be indicated in the class schedule each semester under the course main title. Letter grade only. May be repeated for up to 6 units of credit.
