Description: This required introductory course for the Accelerated nursing student is taken with NUR 355 Nursing Assessment and NUR 356 Foundations and Assessment Studio to build a solid nursing foundation. NUR 354 teaches the foundational concepts of nursing including the cognitive and critical thinking skills required to meet basic human needs. This course provides the foundational knowledge, fundamental skills, and attitudes required for the student to implement and monitor selected nursing interventions and technologies. Letter grade only.
