Description: This required course is the second Foundations of Nursing course for the Accelerated-nursing student that builds upon NUR 354. NUR 357 continues to teach the foundational concepts of nursing diving deeper into the cognitive and critical thinking skills required to meet basic human needs. This is achieved through discussion, lecture, and class activities. Upon completion of this course students will have mastered the foundational understanding of the nursing process, basic nursing skills, medication administration, global health, and body systems and functions. Letter grade only.
