Description: This clinical practicum course provides the accelerated learner opportunity for application of concepts from NUR 453. It is comprised of simulation, and client care experiences with childbearing and childrearing families. The student will develop skills, and practice integration of theory content, critical reasoning, and the nursing process in simulated and actual patient care activities. With laboratory, simulation, and clinical learning, nursing practice is fostered with the mentorship and guidance of faculty members and other professional nurses. Letter grade only.
