PT 701 - Movement Sciences 1

Description: This course is an in-depth study of the anatomical and physiological bases of physical therapy practice and the clinical patterns manifested as a result of pathoanatomical and pathophysiological changes. The primary content areas are Clinical Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics. Those concepts will be integrated asking students to apply that foundational science knowledge in ways that mirror clinical practice. Learner application of course knowledge will be focused on movement analysis and a strong alignment with the systems review detailed in the Guide to the Physical Therapist Practice. Letter grade only.
