PT 708 - Patient Management 3


Description: This course will progress students towards competence across all thirteen (13) of the Entrustable Professional Activities, specifically regarding the patient/client management framework as applied to patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Students will develop assessment skills that enable them to identify acute, chronic, and recurrent neurological and musculoskeletal impairments related to activity restrictions and participation restrictions across the lifespan. Students will apply clinical reasoning principles and evidence-informed assessments to create and implement eclectic, guideline adherent management frameworks across the lifespan and learn to develop, implement and review/modify comprehensive management plans. Students will integrate foundational principles of value-based care through relevant outcomes measures, demonstrating the value of physical therapy in healthcare. Letter grade only.
