PT 711 - Residential Pt Immersion 4


Description: This final residential immersion course integrates content from Practice Management 4 and Contemporary PT Practice 4 and synthesizes information from previous semesters. This course focuses on clinical learning and the application of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies for patients/clients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary system conditions together with integumentary and cognitive/mental health systems across the lifespan. This course further develops clinical reasoning, evidence-informed patient/client management skills, specific interventions for impairments, activity/participation limitations, and disease prevention/health promotion strategies for patients/clients with complex movement dysfunction and health conditions across the lifespan with specific applications to pediatric and geriatric case management. Learners will be expected apply knowledge learned and skills developed across their coursework to manage movement dysfunction and to promote health to demonstrate readiness for the subsequent terminal clinical education experiences.
