Students must have a grade of C or better in English Foundations. Also, all courses in the major and emphasis must have a C or better and a cumulative grade point average of 2.5.


Be aware that not all Theatre courses are available every term, and you might alter this progression, depending on your preferences. At the beginning of your 3rd term, talk with your faculty advisor every term to ensure the courses you take are the best fit for you and will fulfill your graduation requirements.

A Sophomore Evaluation Meeting is required for all Theatre Majors at the beginning of your 4th term.  Go to the Theatre Office to schedule this meeting.

Capstone Project:  During your 5th term, discuss with your faculty advisor your Capstone Project. Submit your proposal within the first three weeks of your 6th term. Your Capstone Project is scheduled in your 7th term, but could take more than one term to complete. For more details, see your faculty advisor.

Students need to submit a graduation application one term prior to graduation.  (Typically this is the student's 7th term).

General Information

Progression Plans are intended to provide a general road map related to the sequencing of courses.
 
For a full description of degree requirements, review the Academic Catalog.  To determine what requirements you may have already met through transfer credits, AP/IB courses, or test credits review your Academic Requirements, advisement report.
 
Some courses may have prerequisites and/or require appropriate placement scores in Mathematics and English.  If you do not have the appropriate placement or prerequisite courses, you may have to take more courses than are presented on the Progression Plan.
 
Not all classes are offered every term so use caution when changing the sequencing of courses.
