We designed this non-degree certificate plan for students seeking professional development in effective communication-to increase skills in oral and written communication and to aid in recognizing the relationship of communication to organizations, technology, and society.
This plan will not be available to new students after Summer 2021

An undergraduate certificate may be earned as part of a bachelor's degree or as a stand-alone certificate.
To receive an undergraduate certificate (at least 15 units) at Northern Arizona University, you must complete a planned group of courses from one or more subject matter areas with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0.
In addition to University Requirements:
- Complete individual plan requirements.
Students may be able to use some courses to meet more than one requirement. Contact your advisor for details.

Take the following 18 units with a minimum GPA of 2.0:Select, with your advisor, from the following (6 units):
