This Minor is a collaboration between the NAU School of Communication faculty and the Sedona Film School, which is a division of Yavapai College. Sedona Film School is housed in the Sedona Center for Arts and Technology, which is located in Sedona, Arizona (about 33 miles south of Flagstaff).

A minor is earned in conjunction with a bachelor's degree.
To receive a minor (18 - 24 units) at Northern Arizona University, you must complete a planned group of courses from one or more subject matter areas with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0. At least 12 units of the minor must be unique to that minor and not applied to any other minor.
In addition to University Requirements:
Students take 15 required units at Sedona Film School, registering through Yavapai College. These 15 units will transfer to NAU as COM 201 (9 units) and COM 202 (6 units).
- Note: This block of courses is offered only during Fall semester.
Students may be able to use some courses to meet more than one requirement. Contact your advisor for details.

Before declaring this minor, students must:
- Speak with a faculty member or an advisor for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
- Complete an electronic application during Spring semester to be eligible to enroll for Fall-semester courses.
