PAs who complete the certificate program will be prepared to meaningfully contribute to the improvement of health and healthcare systems.
Graduates will be provided with skills to make them competitive as leaders in healthcare, consulting, and academia.
The certificate programs align with the university’s vision of stackable education models. Certificates incorporate the same courses as the Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program and credits will ‘stack’ (transfer) into the DMSc program. The doctoral program will expand the pipeline of highly skilled, doctoral-trained PAs to serve in diverse settings, improve healthcare systems, and advocate for patients and communities.
Please be aware that federal financial aid is not available for some certificates if the certificate is pursued and completed as a stand-alone certificate (i.e., not completed concurrently with a degree program). See the “Details” tab for additional information.
Students may be able to use some courses to meet more than one requirement. Contact your advisor for details.
