The project management certificate offers students an opportunity to gain specific career skills and perspectives to better equip them to compete for in-demand high-paying jobs across several industries. Students gain the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and execute projects on time, on budget, and within scope. The program will start with a basic project management simulation exercise and conclude with a more robust project management simulation exercise that will integrate the skills learned, including the scope of the project, scheduling, budgeting, change management, risk management, agile project management, and contract and procurement fundamentals.

Purpose Statement

The certificate in Project Management offers students an opportunity to gain specific career skills and perspectives to better equip them to compete for in-demand high-paying jobs across several industries. Students gain the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and execute projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
