Description: This public health course describes innovative and potentially disruptive approaches and technological developments in public health and the health care system. Topics include innovative delivery models in healthcare and public health that have potential for widespread adoption, the role of big data and health informatics in healthcare, the impact of wearable technology ('the quantified self') on public health, and impact of developments in biomedical science and engineering such as genomics/genetics on healthcare and public health.
