Physician Assistant Studies
Description: This course is designed for practicing PA students enrolled in the Doctor of Medical Science in Health Systems degree program. The purpose of this course is to examine the history of the PA profession and current transformative changes in PA practice. Students will evaluate the evolution of PA practice in the U.S and abroad and engage with regulatory, policy, and practical aspects shaping PA practice in the U.S. The course utilizes case studies, readings, and applied projects designed for experienced clinicians. Letter grade only.
