Description: Each section of this course will offer an in-depth exploration of a specialized topic within the field of Ecology. The course will explore ecological theory, historical research articles and research advances, and will emphasize scientific communication within the specialized topic that is covered during the semester. Credit may not be earned for both BIO 470 and BIO 471C. May be repeatable with different topics for up to 6 units of credit. Letter grade only.
