Description: This class explores the social construction of nature, drawing on social theory, cross-cultural and socio-historical perspectives to elucidate the ways in which our constructions of nature affect our sense of self and how we live. Students work with a wide variety of themes to examine the interconnections between self, culture, and nature. Letter grade only.
