DIS 503 - Foundations Of Disability Studies

Description: This course is an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of disability studies. It requires participants to engage in a critical dialogue around disability in its various contexts. Participants in this course will come to understand that societal perspectives, the built environment and cultural dynamics shape the disability experience. Letter grade only.
