Description: Level 3 is an introduction to academic English. Students acquire and demonstrate knowledge and language abilities for academic purposes with significant support. At this level, students process simplified academic input in order to produce spoken and written texts. Students in level 3 take classes in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and content-based instruction. This course is developmental in nature and does not count toward a student's GPA or graduation requirements. May be repeated up to 3 times.
