Description: This course is an examination of the theory and application of econometrics. The focus is on using the basic regression model, understanding Ordinary Least Squares, analyzing the assumptions of the Classical Model. The course will focus on violations of the assumptions of the Classical Model, with particular focus on practical remedies for these violations and applications of regression analysis in areas such as cross-sectional methods, simultaneous equations, dummy dependent variable techniques, and time-series analysis. Letter grade only.
