Description: In this course we critically examine special topics in geography through an in-depth study of a substantive aspect, concept, or problem. We utilize multiple theoretical perspectives and research approaches to analyze uneven patterns, processes, and connections across global and local contexts. We consider how practices and experiences related to these topics touch down in specific places. Letter grade only. May be repeated for up to 6 units of credit.
