Description: Developmental and Health-Illness Transitions of Childbearing and Childrearing Families prepares the accelerated learner by incorporating theory and introducing clinical nursing practice to those who are planning on becoming, are, or have recently been pregnant. Additionally, this course introduces the accelerated baccalaureate student to care for newborns, infants, and children of all stages of physiologic, cognitive, and psychosocial development. The significance of family-centered care is integrated into this course. Letter grade only.
