Description: This course is an in-depth study of exercise physiology as a foundation for physical therapist practice. It integrates anatomy and physiology related to the cardiovascular, pulmonary, and lymphatic systems. The course explores the basic concepts of diagnostic pharmacology and nutrition as it relates to movement. The concepts of motor learning related to movement and exercise prescription are applied to patient/client management. Letter grade only.
