Biological Sciences
Description: This course explores the structure and function of the human nervous system, with emphasis on the human brain. Building upon from prior courses, this class will cover foundational neuroscience principles. Through a series of neurological case studies, students will summarize "normal" functioning of the brain and will explore pathologic symptoms based on injury extent, as well as potential treatment modalities that highlight the plasticity of the nervous system. Letter grade only.
